Join us next Friday, 9/6, at Mr. Brown’s Pet Stop in Lockhart for an amazing evening! If you haven’t experienced it yet, Downtown Lockhart hosts First Friday each month, where local businesses put on special events

It’s a fantastic way to discover new spots and enjoy a fun night out. Mr. Brown’s will have an incredible lineup of vendors right outside their cozy shop on Commerce Street—including us!

Make sure to stop by and say hello to adoptable Stella! She’s been with us at The Dogslanding House for over a year, patiently waiting for her forever family. This Friday is also her birthday We’ll have extra treats ready to celebrate this sweet girl.

Meet Stella:

A resilient and loving soul, Stella has been patiently waiting for her chance to find true happiness in a forever home. Despite her past struggles, Stella’s spirit remains unbroken, and her capacity for love knows no bounds. This beautiful lady first started with another rescue that didn’t know how to help her thrive. We took her in to start working on her lady skills. After overcoming some small hurdles, she’s now the best-behaved girl. With over 6 months of intensive training, she’s awesome with other dogs, trained with a solid OFF command, has incredible recall, and would do great with a backyard! Because she doesn’t have anxiety, she could also do well in an apartment. We recommend a home with kids 12+ (although she has made amazing decisions around children during her training sessions) due to her size and past nervous tendencies. Stella has been in rescue for far too long. She deserves her home!
