Spring 2025

Things are buzzing at Dogslanding! After a busy winter, we're excited to welcome spring with open arms—and paws. We braved the freeze, snow, sleet, and rain, and now, with the warmer weather, our dogs are soaking up the sunshine while we’re enjoying far less mud. Happy days!

Exciting News: 501(c)(3) Approval!

We are thrilled to announce that The Dogslanding House Rescue has officially received its 501(c)(3) nonprofit status from the IRS! This milestone comes after a two-year wait, and we couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead.

Our vision is to purchase this property and create a permanent sanctuary for dogs that are not adoptable due to behavioral or medical challenges. Currently, we have three sanctuary dogs—Sugar, Phil, and Perry—who were once feral but have become beloved members of our rescue family. They play an invaluable role in helping new rescues adjust, and we hope to expand this effort to provide a haven for more dogs in need.

While we are fortunate to have a long-term lease, owning the property will allow us to take our rescue mission to the next level. To achieve this, we’ve launched a fundraising campaign, and we’d love your support! Learn more and contribute here: https://donorbox.org/save-dogslanding

A Record Year for Rescues

Thanks to our dedicated team, we’ve saved over 100 dogs from euthanasia this year, placing them in loving homes. Our work is a seven-day-a-week commitment, ensuring every dog receives top-quality care, love, and medical attention. None of this would be possible without our amazing donors—we are so grateful for your continued support.

With 2025 ahead, we’re eager to save even more lives. If you’re looking to adopt, we have a fantastic group of dogs waiting for their forever homes. Visit our website to learn more about the adoption process and meet our available dogs.

Dogslanding Play & Train: More Than Just Boarding

On the training side, our Dogslanding Play & Train bunkhouse continues to welcome a steady stream of four-legged guests. Since 2022, our LLC income has been a critical source of support for our rescue efforts. Our board-and-train programs boast a high success rate, earning rave reviews from happy dog owners.

Nestled in the countryside of Cedar Creek, our boarding facility offers a reliable, enriching environment for your dog while you’re away. Our small but dedicated team is hands-on with every aspect of our programs—from training and daily care to fundraising and adoption events. The work is tough, but the rewards are beyond worth it!

Get Involved!

We’re always looking for volunteers to join us in making a difference. Whether it’s walking dogs, helping with baths, or supporting fundraising efforts, your time and effort mean the world to our rescue pups.
